The glass
Blown by hand at Jerpoint Glass, Co. Kilkenny
Every bauble is individually blown from molten glass at Jerpoint Glass Studio in Stoneyford, where Keith and Kathleen Leadbetter started blowing glass in 1979.
We tie each one with a white satin ribbon printed with the Trust's name, and pack it in a gift box with a card that tells the story of how it was made.

When someone from Ireland dies suddenly or tragically abroad, the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust helps their family bring them home.
Colin and Eithne Bell set up the Trust after their son Kevin died in New York in June 2013. It is volunteer-led and funded by donations, and it helps anyone who needs it, regardless of background or circumstance.
Since then the Trust has brought 2,612 people home, from 88 countries, to families in all 32 counties of Ireland.

Home from all over the world
The Trust has brought people home from 88 countries, to families in all 32 counties, including from Australia, Argentina, South Korea, the United States, Canada, Ecuador, Cambodia, India, Uganda, Thailand and Portugal. Kyle was brought home from the United Arab Emirates.
Why we are doing this
The Trust brought Kyle home to his family in Kilkenny.
In January, Martina's son Kyle died in Dubai. When the family did not know how they would bring him home, the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust stepped in. They made all the arrangements, covered the cost, and brought Kyle home to his family in Kilkenny.
Earlier this year Kyle's dad Paul and his colleagues in Kilkenny Fire Service held a charity car wash for the Trust. With the support of the community, it raised over €22,000.
This Christmas we are asking you to hang a Kilkenny bauble on your tree, and help another family bring their loved one home.

How much of my money goes to the Trust?
€10 from every bauble sold goes to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. The rest of the price covers the glass, ribbon, gift box, payment fees and VAT. Postage is charged separately.
Who is selling the baubles?
Happy Home Decor, the Kilkenny business run by sisters Martina Comerford and Patricia Woods. You pay securely through happyhomedecor.ie and the donations are transferred to the Trust.
Who makes them?
Each bauble is individually blown from molten glass at Jerpoint Glass Studio in Stoneyford, Co. Kilkenny.
How does postage work?
Each bauble is €29.99. Postage is €10 per order, however many baubles you buy, and is added at checkout on happyhomedecor.ie. We post anywhere in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Can I donate without buying a bauble?
Yes. You can give directly to the Trust on its iDonate page.
